Membership for 2025 is now open and unlike prior years, will take place solely through the GAA’s Foireann platform. Klubfunder will no longer be used for annual memberships. As a result, we have paused all subscription payments that existed on Klubfunder and would have been due to be paid in January 2025.
Foireann is the GAA’s preferred method for taking membership registrations and provides benefits for members in terms of taking ownership of their own and their family registration status. Using Foireann also reduces time-consuming duplication of data entry by club officials on multiple systems and speeds up player registrations to be eligible to play and train.
Registration and membership fees are integral to the running of the club. Players must be registered in order to be covered to train and pay GAA games. The fees for memberships cover the traditional ‘registration’ as well as ‘training fees’ which traditionally would have been paid per training session. These can be split over 6 monthly instalments to cover the full annual amount.
There are two criteria you may find yourself in.
A) Members that have previously logged into Foireann using a web browser or the app.
- Please proceed to Foireann to log in using your email address.
- Update your profile details then scroll to bottom of the page to save.
- Proceed to select your registration option.
- There are instalment and annual payment options.
B) Members that have never logged into Foireann previously.
- We will be sending an email invitation to log into your Foireann account with the subject line “Invite to create a Foireann profile” from no-reply@foireann.ie
- If you have had membership with Steelstown Brian Ógs previously, there will be a Foireann registration already present for you. It is important to use the link sent by email to log in and create your Foireann profile, rather than create a new account, which results in duplicates.

- PLEASE NOTE : If multiple members (eg children) linked to one email, then each email will need to be click to create a profile for each child.
- Family members can then be added to one family unit for registration.
**If you did not receive an email invite from Foireann, it may be in your spam/junk folder. If you have not received the email at all, it is likely because your membership was created on Foireann in previous years prior to email addresses being added to membership records.
**If this is the case, please message our club registrar Ann Lindsey on 07809905200 or email secretary.steelstown.derry@gaa.ie with your name, DOB, address and email address so we can add the email address to the correct membership record and send you the invite manually.
C) New members for 2025.
