The game this evening (25/07) 
was a proper championship game, nothing asked for nothing given. Both sides made mistakes at different times in the game we came out on top because of our character, play hard, play fair, play for each other. Our mantra “ you won’t be judged on your mistakes, you will be judged on how you react” we play as a team a single unit no individual hero’s, at different time different players may step up and step forward to carry the team, but they carry the team not the individual. Slaughtmanus I thought were very clinical in their approach to the game and I commented them for that. Both teams produced an outstanding, energy sapping, pulsating and at times frustrating game of football. Some lads or should i say men , players had tears in their eyes after the final whistle.
